Haven in Townsville is a beautiful little sub development area tucked away at the border of Belgian Gardens, West End and Garbutt. All the houses have been designed and built by the incredible team at Ellis Developments. Anyone looking to buy and build a house near the CBD in a quiet area with a beautiful sea breeze, I would highly recommend looking into this area. The Ellis Developments team has been outstanding. My build is a custom design, and took quite a few months to scope while abroad. My build would not have come to fruition without Meredith's support. Going above and beyond, she helped me investigate possible build sites at The Village and around greater Townsville before we found the perfect site at Haven. She came up with an awesome design that made the best use of the lot and was able to support every design change that I needed. Where we needed his expertise, Stephen Ellis made personal input and gave specific advice. I can't speak highly enough of my customer service experience. It took me quite a while to thoroughly research the residential building sector in Townsville. There are may excellent builders. One stood out though. Ellis Developments is not just a true leader and innovator in the industry but Steve Ellis has put together an amazing team of professional, very friendly and knowledgeable property advisors and superb craftsmen across all the trades. The company has also identified a niche. They offer individually designed bespoke homes that fit very comfortably onto smaller lots. That gives purchasers like us a distinct price advantage while not compromising on the quality features you expect in homes on much larger blocks. All the features without the burden of on-going maintenance and the added advantage of key and superior locations in Townsville, like Haven and The Village Now that we are on the other side of design and construction of an outstanding home it is wonderful to 'own' every weekend and to know that our most important asset will serve us well for many decades to come. They were very accommodating before, during and well after the build, when it came to questions, ideas and just staying in touch.
They were always willing to put our ideas to paper and nothing was ever too hard to try for them. Their designs are perfect for the modern day living and they don't mind pushing the boundaries to try something a little different, which I love! Mark, their foreman was always easy to reach if we had any questions or queries about the build.

They managed to find me the perfect block for house design I needed that was low maintenance. The design came through and it was great I wanted to make a few minor changes and they were very flexible with no extra cost. The kitchen is fantastic and I love cooking up storms for my housemates.
